Actually, the game on Sunday is a 1:00pm EST start against the Raptors (Nash's future home) and we meet the Heat next Thursday, the 23rd.

I like the valuable playing time these guys are getting. We are going to be that much better in the long run. Marshall is getting better and Harris had not too bad of a night. He made some mistakes but I like his energy. Another energy player with a pretty good shot.

Sunday with the early start game for those of us out west is next.

The dude with the long hair is O'Lennic. Sounds like an ingredient to butter or something. Dude ought to cut his hair because he looks like a freakin' ugly bitch with long hair.

His name is spelled Olynyk, which would indicate eastern European ancestry rather than Irish.

I would never want to wear my hair that long but it's his choice. And he is going to be a good player regardless of the hair, IMO. I still think mine will

Your team did pull it out tonight, but I still think mine will win a title before yours does.

GO CELTICS! :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

Always nice to beat the Celtics. I was really happy to see Kelly play well as well as Marshall.

Same here Silas. We have some young keepers and Kelly and Marshall are in that mix. I want to see this Harris get acclimated. He looks like another good player that needs some playing time.

Here's hoping we hang onto Jodie Meeks.

So now Red Auerbach was incompetent?

Wow, Celtics fan excuse making has reached epic levels.

Auerbach had retired by then. John Y Brown was the franchise owner at the time and he proved several times over that he didn't know basketball as well as he did the restaurant business.

Uh, Auerbach was President and Vice-Chairman from 1984-2006. Doesn't like much like retirement to me.

Auerbach may not have officially retired before 2006, but he had long since ceased making the important decisions by then.

That's effective retirement at the very least.

He was still making important decisions. He was retired like Dr. Buss was retired. Probably didn't spend as much time at the team facilities and offices anymore, but still had final say. Guys like Auerbach and Dr. Buss never truly retire.

They're probably in heaven right now trying to figure out a way to run their teams from the afterlife.

I doubt Auerbach approved the sale of the franchise to John Y "Clown" Brown.

Do I ever wish John Y had paid more attention to whatever advice Red ever gave him! One could almost believe
John Y made a point of doing the opposite of what Red wanted, his results were so bad.
