I'm good with all except Wes.

Also, what do you guys think happens with Nash?

Good question. Personally, I'd like the Lakers to keep him around for this coming season. Lin, Marshall and Clarkson could learn a ton from him.

Hey shaqdaddy how can you think the Lakers will be contenders? Losing Gasol and gaining Randle? That's it? Not to mention you don't even know who the coach is. Pretty much the consensus is the Lakers will be bottom feeders again.

Well, the Lakers have signed Young to a 4yr/21.5M deal and traded for Lin.

Dominos are falling now.

We also signed Jordon Hill and Bazemore. I hope Monroe, Henry, Kelly, and Marshall are next.

Hadn't seen the Bazemore signing. Just said he was likely to sign soon.

I really like him, so I hope it's true.

The reports I have seen is that its a done deal and they are just hammering out some details. He'll probably sign tomorrow or within a couple of days.

Mitch has been talking to Monore and since Gasol turned down $10 mill per year for 2 years, I suspect he's gone. He wants more money and that isn't going to fly when they can get Monroe for far less and the guy plays D and is way younger.

If we're going to be in assest/tank mode, then we need to go all out. I don't want any other really known names if that's the way we're going. Let's either be good or really bad

Well right now we have under contract: Sacre, Nash, Kobe, Swaggy, Hill, Bazemore (has signed yet but it is a done deal), and Lin. WE could conceivably add: Monroe, Ariza, Henry, Kelly, and Marshall. If not Monroe, than Gasol. WE can than add Randle and still have one spot open for Clarkson. That would complete the roster at 15.

I don't think they can afford Monroe or Ariza now. They could pay Pau because they have his bird rights. He's leaving. S&T still possible with him though.

Apparently Bazemore didn't like the deal he was reported to have agreed to this afternoon and he signed with the Hawks who probably gave him a better one. So scratch Bazemore.

Read an article this morning and it looks like the Lakers are setting themselves up nicely for the future. With the way they are doing things, they will have cap flexibility for the next 2 FA classes. With expiring contracts and deals like the one's Hill (essentially a 1 year deal) and Young (easily absorbed or even traded away if necessary) got, they can actually shed salary very quickly and have even more cap space than they had this year.

Considering that Nash comes off the books after this coming season and Kobe after the next, the Lakers will be sitting pretty for the next couple of FA classes.

Basically the hope is Love in 2015 and Durant in 2016. Alot of things have to break right for the Lakers.
