This article sums-up what the Lakers ARE: Old, lazy, and they can't stay in front of anyone. This why everybody has a great night against them and they proved it again last night. Three OT's and they still couldn't beat a 7-12 team because they missed sooooo many shots and FT's at the end of the 4th quarter as well as into any of the OT periods.

James, AD, Anthony, Monk, any of them would make half their FT's and many of missed multiple shots when it really counted. This team is a shit-show and unlike what AD believes, they aren't going on any 10, 12-game winning streaks when they can't keep big leads like the OKC's debacles (twice they lost games to OKC where they had huge leads and then squandered them away by not be able to play defense). People who are in shooting slumps get better playing the Lakers because they are often left wide-open.

These players like James and AD believe a fantasy. The Lakers have hamstrung themselves with the Westbrook trade and like the Bulls demonstrated, they signed the wrong guys. The guys they should have signed play for the Bulls. No they are done for the year and Pelinka has royally screwed the pooch. They need to start jettisoning players including James ASAP. Stephen A is right, James has won his last championship.

Well therein lies the rub. They ain't going to make the playoffs because while they have proven to beat the crappy teams, they have not defeated any good teams and their schedule remaining is loaded with good teams. And this defense just gave up 36 points. Not as good as everyone wants to believe because the DC is an idiot!
