James misses a three and the lead is 6.
I have noooooo idea DJ. The same goes for nearly every other player including James, AD, Monk, Anthony. The only guy that appears to be somewhat consistent in making both FTs is THT and he misses every once and awhile. I don't think Vogel demands that they all shoot FTs in every practice as Kobe routinely did ALL SEASON LONG!!WTF is going on with RW and shooting FT's?
The 3rd one involves us receiving Lilliard.....that wouldn't be bad.At the quarter mark of the season, everyone knows the Lakers are really bad. So one of the options purported by the pundits is to move Westbrook allowing the Lakers to atone for their screw-up in putting this awful roster together and not signing Caruso, Ball, and DeRozan. One of the suggested trades is reported in article by LakeShowLife.
Personally I really like the first trade package (1 out of three suggested) that involves three teams: Lakers, Kings, Sixers. This trade would solve all three teams' problems. It would involve sending Westbrook and a 2023 1st rounder to Philly, who would send Simmons and another player (and draft picks) to the Kings who would ship Hield and Barnes to the Lakers. We get defenders and shooters in this deal.
The other suggested packages suck but this first option really is a good one. We shall see how this all plays out but right the Lakers have to do something or I seriously doubt they will be not going anywhere close to being a championship-level team.
Los Angeles Lakers: 3 potential trade packages for Russell Westbrook
The Russell Westbrook experiment in LA has been a failure so far. The Los Angeles Lakers sit ninth in the West and Westbrook is struggling to find his role.lakeshowlife.com
Lilliard is on the downside of his career?I don't like the third one DJ. We give-up way too much for a player in that window of being on the downside of his career. We have too many players like that already.
Yea, by several definitions in statistics the window that BEGINS the twilight of a sports career is usually hallmarked starting at age 30. Lillard will be 31 this year so yea he is probably entering that window and may have 5-6 peak years left as opposed to Hield and Barnes are both pre-30 and may have 6-8 years left. Granted we are looking at small differences in definitions here but I didn't like the package as presented by the article. AS I stated earlier, the Lakers would be giving-up too much when they can get more value with the first deal, IMO.Lilliard is on the downside of his career?
