I'd start Clarkson next to KCP.....until Ball returns.

Ennis is garbage.

The whole point of starting Ennis is keeping Clarkson in his role. Luke has typically handled injuries in this manner. He's clearly not as good as Clarkson, but the starting lineup doesn't need that scoring, they need a distributor. Clarkson has a few good assist totals recently, but they're outliers for his career.

Since the trade of Griffin to Detroit, there is lots of chatter amongst the pundits as to the landing place for LeBron. Speculative reports have LBJ going to the Lakers as those talks are "in play". Still others indicate that the Clip-Joint is going after LBJ as well. Seems a paring with Lou Williams and other assets is the thinking across the hall. We can only sit back and watch what unfolds at this point.

I can't imagine Lebron going to the Clips with anything resembling the roster they currently have.

Lakers had supposedly offered the Pistons Clarkson for Bradley, wonder if that's back on the table with the Clips.

I just don't see LeBron coming to the western conference. The West has been the tougher conference for a long time.

He has an easier road to the finals if he stays in the East, which is what I think he will do

How about we move Jordon Clarkson and a draft pick to the Cavs for Love and then wait for PG this summer and be done with this trading for max players nonesense.

Horrible lose to Orlando!!! Worst 3rd quater defense of the year. Ingram does his disappearing act again. Inexcusable against a bad team.

This is beginning to sound a lot like: "We will do what is best for the Lakers and we won't trade players away and get nothing of equal or better value in return just to have a bunch of max guys when we have a really good young and talented core".

Rob Pelinka: Lakers May Use Salary Cap Space To Re-Sign Players, Not Just Attempt To Lure Superstar Free Agents - Lakers Nation

Nothing really surprising in what he said. It basically boils down to..."cap space gives us options."

They can chase top FA's, keep their young core intact and if they land top FA's, become relevant immediately.

If they don't land top FA's. then they can re-sign some of the guys they already have and play the long game by letting them develop and just concentrate on adding solid reserve type players around the young guys.

I think most Lakers fans will be happy either way.
