Not sure how much more clear it can be for some of these guys though. Literally, everyone except Lonzo, Ingram and maybe Kuzma could be moved by the trade deadline or after the season.

Kuzma is pretty much just as untouchable as Lonzo and Ingram. He's got a fantastic rookie contract.

I don't think he'll be moved, but if the Lakers have to part with one of those 3 to land a max level guy...Kuzma would be the one to go.

That's the great thing. All three guys will take up less than $15m in the 18/19 season, less than $18m in 19/20 and $24m in 20/21

Larry will probably stay too as he takes up less than $6m over the next two seasons after this one.

I'm thinking more in a trade though. Apparently, there's some talk that the Lakers will look to trade for Boogie. If I remember what I read correctly, it's looking like maybe Randle and KCP for Boogie. But if the Lakers truly want him and other teams make better offers, they may have to sweeten the pot and they may mean Kuz.

I don't think Kuzma is going anywhere. If somebody has to go to make room for a max FA like Paul George or Boogie, than it'll be vets like Bogut and the duo of Clarkson and Randle. Magic has pretty much it very clear that Ball, Ingram, and Kuzma are his big three core that shall stay.

I'm thinking more in a trade though. Apparently, there's some talk that the Lakers will look to trade for Boogie. If I remember what I read correctly, it's looking like maybe Randle and KCP for Boogie. In that case, if the Pelicans want Kuzma in the deal, the Lakers are better off waiting in free agency.

Maybe. I'm not too worried about any of it. I have faith in Magic and Pelinka that I never had in Short Buss. I also like that they are looking to be aggressive, both in trades and free agency.

I am not worried either TJF12 but I am quite sure Magic knows he has three bonafide stars in the making in Kuzma, Ball, and Ingram and anyone of them can go off and score 30+ on a given night. That right there you don't throw away for some perceived max FA. That is something short buss would have done if he even knew what talent looked like in the form of those three future NBA stars.

Agree. I don't want it to happen, but of the 3, I could see Kuzma moved. I think the Lakers will do everything in their power to not move him, but end of the day, they might have to if they truly intend to try to trade for a max guy before the deadline.

I think it's time for the NBA to set it up so the Lakers can fleece somebody to get a star like the conspiracy theorists used to claim before the CP3 trade got vetoed.

I think Deng, Caruso and the 3037 2nd round pick to the Pelicans for Boogie sounds pretty good. lol

LOL so true about short buss. Glade we have three young ones to build around. I would keep hart, nance, and bryant as well.
