Walton needs to go back to starting Kuzma

Nance is giving them nothing since he came back, and Kuzma is a huge spark plug

I don't care what Walton's reasoning is for starting Nance, it isn't working.

Kuzma needs to start and bring Nance off the bench. He always played better that way.

Yeah. I mean, I get what he's doing too. But, as you point out, Nance was playing better off the bench.

On the other hand, Kuzma is a great sparkplug off the bench. But then, so was Nance when he did. lol

I think you're right though. Move Nance to the bench and start Kuzma. You can always revisit starting Nance later on. I'd hate to see him struggle as a starter until it hurt his confidence.

Ram you are right. I always believed Nance was a bench player, but a good spark of the bench. He cant shot, and the Lakers desperately need an outside shooter. Some of his substitution patterns are losing games.

So far, Kuzma looks to be their best 3 point shooter. You could probably start Nance if KCP were shooting better from 3, but he's not. I'd like to see Hart get more run too. From what I've seen, he's been pretty good on the 3 ball when he's been in. With more minutes, he could be a real scoring threat off the bench.

I like the fact that the Lakers are one of the top teams when it comes to scoring in the paint. But in today's NBA, you have to have a couple of guys who can shoot a decent 3 to go with it.

Lou Williams would have been great on this team. KCP takes too many quick 3s like Lopez.

Me too and I agree. KCP maybe a defensive guru but his offensive approach sucks!

Yeah, I don't hate KCP. But he's not living up to expectations (at least on offense) so far.

I think he's made a clear difference on defense. I think he is part of the reason that Lonzo's defense has looked better than expected.

But he was also supposed to be a decent, although streaky, 3 point shooter. Haven't seen much of that so far.

The Lakers knew about this when they signed him. It's why he missed the first 2 games. Looks like that weird travelling restriction is only gonna cost him 3 more games.

Having said that, I agree. Would love to still have Lou.

They actually played better against Cleveland without him. I like him, but his absence is not really going to matter. May not win another game this month. Tough stretch.

Well, it's possible that without that trade, the Lakers may not have Kuzma.

I know they took him before Hart, but would they have made that choice if they didn't have the extra 1st rounder?

I just hope Kuzma starts from here on out!! Can you believe this team won without Lopez and KCP? Two trade bait assets. IMO
