That's 13 on the roster. Two more roster spots available. I think they need another ball-handling guard. No one really impressed me in summer league.

The article is about some guy at an Arizona radio station claiming that his "source" is pushing for the Lakers to make the trade. It doesn't say anything about the Lakers being interested in that deal, just they're interested in Bledsoe.

The article ends by saying that they already have 3 PG's and would be unlikely to make this deal. I believe Bledsoe is an RFA. I wonder what happens if the Suns can't re-sign him and can't get him traded?

Sounds like a lot of BS to me and that would just be an awful trade when Mitch has really assembled a very nice squad that will be competitive while creating for the future.

Yeah. Sounds like a media guy throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks. On the off chance that they did this trade, I'd have to believe that Mitch had something else up his sleeve to replace Randle and Hill, but I can't think of what's out there that would work.

The only thing I could remotely perceive to be in play would be something to bring Monroe to LA involving three teams but there would be a lot of gyrations to pull that off.

The way things have gone for Bledsoe, any teams that want him would be wise to just wait it out. PHX isn't going to give him a max deal and he seems hellbent on getting one. The only way he can is to sign PHX's qualifying offer so he can enter unrestricted free agency next summer and try again.

Yea, it would be way better for the Lakers to wait on this one till next summer for a lot of reasons if this story has any legitimacy. Then may be go after Bledsoe as one of the FAs they would target for that FA period.

I agree Shaqdaddy. TJF12 is probably right. Some knucklehead source here in Phoenix trying to make a name for himself and if we gave up those three players for Bledsoe, that would be overpaying. Turkey has this one nailed. Wait till next summer and go after him in FA and keep our assets.

That's what drives me nuts about these media guys. They come up with this speculative crap. When they turn out to be wrong, they don't say anything and no one calls them out.

If they finally hit on one, they pound their chests and everyone tells them what a genius they are and how they're "dialed in".

Signed rookies have to wait 9 weeks after signing date to be traded. Its why Wiggins remains unsigned.
