Is this a Seattle thing? I have seen multiple Seattle fans on here put an "E" in his name.

Probably spell check, it tends to correct things the way it wants sometimes, if you don't notice it just does it ...

FEAST MODE!!!!

Eh, I really don't know why Seattle keeps spending draft picks/money on runningbacks with no line (Joeckel is a lineman but barely counts)... but whatevs. The Seahawks are into that yoga and psychological shit. Maybe they'll curb Lacy's diet limitations and find a gem. No doubt the guy is talented... but Lacy's waist line has been one of the highlights of his career so far....

As a Hawks fan, I would be more puzzled by the Joeckel signing actually...$7mil G$? Really?

Lacy can be factor...IF he wants to be, so maybe Pete can use some of his psych skills to motivate him to show up at camp in shape...he's already starting by saying he wants him in shape, but wants him big...huh?

If the line even improves 15 to 20% over last year's abomination then that $7M is money well spent. Another year like last year and Wilson won't see week 6. Any help on the line at this point is great.

If he produces...I agree money well spent. Coming off injury, 2nd overall pick discarded by a 3 win team? I question if he can give them that 15-20% improvement.

We'll need to wait and see what kind of support Seattle is going to get for Joekel. Rumor is maybe Ryan Clady or Jermon Bushrod might end up in a Seattle uniform. That would at least ad some experience to one of the worst lines in the NFL. Really, as a Hawk fan, almost anything/anyone is going to be an improvement from last year. When your line is ranked at or near the bottom you have nowhere to go but up.

I hear ya and feel the same way about PIT's 3rd down DEF...at least SEA has tried to address it in FA...the name just made me SMH...a guy like Kelvin Beechum (Jets signed him I think) would've have been a solid pickup, reasonably priced.

You hope a guy with the physical talents of Joeckel gets it at some point. Being in a winning environment...maybe.

Feed him more and put him on the D-line. We can call Lacy "mini fridge".

As long as they still draft Mixon I'm fine with this signing.
