Might be sooner than you think.

Brian "I'm Lebron's Mouthpiece and owe my entire career to him" Windhorst broke the story. Even a flat earther like Kyrie can figure that one out.

Oh man would Kyrie be pissed if that's where he ends up. Like someone said above, Cavs should sit him down and say look LeBron is leaving next year then it's all yours again.
I wouldnt even be mad if they punished him by sending him to the Kings

I wonder if some of Warriors are doing some voodoo:lol:

I am fairly certain the Warriors feel less and less threatened by Cleveland every day. All they have to worry about is themselves. If they play their best, they can't be beat.

That will teach him for asking to be traded!

Honestly, it would be a terrible move for the Kings. Don't see how they would do it without giving up Fox. 8 years of Fox is worth more to the franchise than 2 years of Kyrie. Kyrie probably wouldn't get them to the playoffs either.

I agree with this but something tells me it is deeper than that. I don't think it is just a Lebron issue because I don't see why he would request this trade knowing LBJ is a FA next summer. I really think it has something to do with playing for Dan Gilbert as well and how he handled the Griff situation.

If I'm the Cavs, I don't trade him this season but soon as Lebron leaves for another team next summer then I'm trying to trade him so no way in hell would Kyrie be on my roster in the 2018-2019 NBA season. Get a head start on the rebuild.

To me Kyrie is not and never will be the centerpiece of a championship team. So the Lakers would need more than him, Ingram, and Randle to seriously contend. Especially in the west. They may win more games initially but in the long run it would be a one step forward, two steps back kind of move. Plus you can't get rid of Lonzo before he even plays a game. At least not in this situation.

Who is the centerpiece of the golden state warriors? All these millionaires want to do is play with their friends.

As far as reuniting Wade and Lebron, thats the first thing that came to my mind when I heard Rose was thinking about signing there. Rose was not enough to be considered the third of the big three after an MVP season but now he might be the only guy the cavs get this summer if they dont trade Kyrie.

I thought Kyrie was the man in Cleveland all those years he was losing. Why go back to that when the current NBA is at least 3 stars per contending team?

You're full of shit.
They were still an elite team that just happened to catch a Spurs team that has been the best weve seen in a long time.
I said that whole season it was getting stale.
Players said it wasnt fun anymore.
You'll see.

example 1 of many.

@WiggyRuss
How many times did I tell you that by year 3 it would be growing old?

It would be funny if David Griffin leaked the information so he could watch Cleveland burn.

Lol why,?

He doesn't want to play second fiddle in Cleveland? He'd be the 3rd best in Minnesota, behind KAT and Butler.

Aside from that, unless it were Teague for Irving, straight up (and maybe Aldrich or someone to match up salaries), no way I'd give up Wiggins plus whatever they'd be asking for to get it done.

I think kyrie would be a good add though. You would have to give Wiggins in a deal

Maybe in the short term, but how are he and Teague going to co-exist in the same back court? And holy shit - who'd play defense?

I just think it would create a bunch of unnecessary complications, and leave us extremely shallow in depth.

Thanks man, I laughed while typing "fat tub of shit"

Shaq was Batman for the first title without a doubt. He was the most dominant player in the 99-00 playoffs.
The 2nd year it was more even but yet again Shaq was the most dominant player in the game and Batman. He was unstoppable.
In the 3rd season of their 3 peat, again Shaq was unstoppable, no answer for him. Both players players played great though.

But what is funny is who they actually played in the Finals....the Pacers, 76ers and Nets :pound:

I really like Kyrie Irving but he will never be able to carry a team himself.

I could see him carry a team in the same style as James Harden -- exciting regular season team that can make some noise in the postseason but ultimately lacks the defense to challenge truly great teams. In other words, if there's a reorganization in the league, I could envision the Harden-led Rockets stealing a championship in a down year (sort of like the Mavs' win while Miami was in an adjustment phase) but it's unlikely he'll lead them to a championship.

But the only problem is this season then...we have seen in the past Kyrie's kinda half assing it out there at time but if he doesnt want to be there what would it be like.

The only trade I would make is that 3-team trade getting Melo and Bledsoe, if that is possible. Trade Frye or Shump and Kyrie.

For the Lakers their real test came in the WCF - Portland and Sacramento. Then of course came the Spurs in '03.
