i dunno....

he was the:

Rookie of the Year
World Champion
FIBA Tourney MVP
All Star Game MVP
Rising Stars Challenge MVP
One of the youngest all stars in NBA history (only younger are Isiah, KG, LeBron, Kobe, Durant, Shaq)
Multiple All Star appearances
Only 50+ point game ever against Pop in SAS when he went for 55
Dropped the two highest scoring games in the NBA 2 years ago- the 55 vs. SAS- which occured just a few weeks after his 52 point performance (which was a FLUKE according to most) against Portland where he hit a game winner
The fact that the game he DID play in the Finals the previous year was one of his bests
the Fact that he has been amazing in clutch situations and has hit some of the most game winners in the league since he was drafted
The fact he was the #1 overall pick

I mean - i guess i can see where you didnt expect much out of him i guess, lol

by far and away MUCH better than any prospect the Sixers have touched in years. If Simmons because 1/2 of what Kyrie has become you would be ECSTATIC.

List the 20 players better than Steph Curry in 2012-2013.

Also how can you idiots say curry wasnt a top 20 player in 12-13 season? He was easily top 15. He had a season as good as lilliards. Who everyone thinks is near top 10 or so

obviously reading is not your strong suit.

I said Kyrie Irving is not on Curry's level yet....however, Kyrie did torch him during the Finals and is far more accomplished at 24 than Curry was at 24- who seemingly came out of nowhere to contend for and win 2 mvps.

I realize Curry played multiple more years than Kyrie did in college- but i am not going to penalize Kyrie for being one of the youngest all stars in NBA history and playing at the highest competition level in the world while Curry was lighting up Ball State.

Its ok. You know nothing about ball. Other than the cavs. We know that very clearly

I think we have gone through excruciating detail debunking the argument that the MVP translates into a "best player" award.

If you're an MVP candidate, chances are you're pretty darn good and likely a top 10-15 player in the league. It may not mean the best player, but a player has to be pretty darn good to even get a vote.

Ty Lawson tied with David lee for 12th that year. Want to argue they ere top 30 players, let alone top 15?

yah didnt think so

This is a stupid argument. At the time of that list, both of those guys were top 15 in the league. That's why they finished that high in the voting. The fact that they are no longer as good as they were then doesn't change the fact that they were top players at that time.

Face it, you're wrong...again.

I challenge you to name 19 players who had a better season that year than Curry. Go ahead, I'll wait.

I asked him to do this a few days ago. I'm still waiting.

He won't because he can't and he knows it. So rather than just admit he's wrong and move on, he's going to keep throwing out strawman arguments before eventually disappearing from the thread altogether.
