In the 2012-2013 season stephen curry was 7th in the whole NBA in (win shares). Not only was he a top 20 player but he was a borderline top 10 player that year. Who's the dumb shit now?

He also broke the all time record in 3 point field goals.

Suggesting that there were 20 other players better than him that season is pretty laughable.

Player efficiency rating is very flawed. It doesnt show true impact on the court. Like win shares does

Seriously?

And you wonder why nobody takes you seriously. Multiple people have asked you to come up with 20 players better than Curry and once again you chickened out.

Man up for a change, you pansy.

Point being that it listed Curry in the top 20.

Yeah you gotta at least try to find close to 20. This is just a message board, none of it matters, but in the context of what we are all doing here you just suck at this.

If you wanted to stand by your position that Curry came out of nowhere, you could have defended that position without arguing that he wasn't a top 20 player in 2012-2013. Here's what your response could have looked like:

--

You guys are right. Steph Curry was a top 20 player in the league back in 2012-2013. That doesn't mean his performance in 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 didn't "come out of nowhere." Most people will admit that they were surprised to see Curry elevate his game to such a high level. Why? Because there is a huge difference between the 20th best player in the league and the best player in the league. Heck, there is a pretty big difference between the 5th best player in the league and the best player in the league. Another reason why? His size. Everyone knows that smaller guys can excel in the NBA, but it's rare. And it's extremely rare for them to dominate the game the way that Curry has done the last two seasons.

Most people thought that Curry had probably reached his ceiling, or near his ceiling, in either 2012-2013 or 2013-2014. Back then, nobody had thought that Curry would win one MVP award, let alone two. So yeah, he didn't completely come out of nowhere, but he pretty much came out of nowhere.

--

The problem is that you take a stance and then are completely unable to back it up. Why not just admit you were wrong? It's ok to be wrong about something.

The kid isn't even willing to admit he's wrong. It's pathetic!

And he wants us all to think he's a lawyer?!?

Consistently digs his heels on the subject of Curry not being a top 20 player. Yet doesn't provide us with a list of the top 20 players those years. Super.

Either that or just list his top 20 players of 2012-2013, leave Curry out of it, and be done with it.

He should just do what lawyers do: take up any side of a debate and still come up with a decent argument by being the one to define the issues and rules so that he comes up with the conclusion that he wants. It should be very easy for him to state whatever standards, rules, and/or precedents he wants to go by to determine who is top 20, and then give his analysis as to why Curry was not a top 20 player in 2012-2013 according to these standards, rules, and/or precedents.

A response like that would require tact, insight, class and a working knowledge of basketball. You'll find that Wiggy possesses none of those traits.
