If I am correct, they made the Jack deal to clear up space for Lebron. Either way I dont think they would have all those players.

Bennett sucks too. Twolves are about to trash him.

Another #1 pick down the drain!

Yea i think it would be right on up there next to LBJ having his "decision" prodcast nation-wide. That would hurt them pretty bad.

Yes.

Just bc they opt out doesnt mean they are gone. Smith might be asking for too much, so he will probably be gone.

After his last couple of years Smith should probably not opt out.

I agree, he would have still gotten $6.4 mil this year I believe. Looks like he is trying to get 8-10 now smh

Now all the Knicks and especially Lakers fans will be falsely thinking "He's done in Cleveland and coming to our big media market team!" ESPN and other media outlets made this seem like huge news and as if the Cavs gave up their #1 draft pick for nothing.

Wrong, he did it to get a bigger contract and the Cavs knew that, and he's going to re-sign for more money with the Cavs. People just want to believe no one would want to play for the Cavs and everyone just wants to play for a big media market team like the Knicks or Lakers or even the Celtics. How many playoff games did these teams big market teams win last season? That's right: zero. If he wants to win a championship, Cleveland is one of his best options.

I can't speak for Knicks fans, but Lakers fans moved on from Love months ago. If he's going to listen to offers, I'm sure the Lakers will make him a max offer, especially if they end up trading for Cousins and Randle is included. But for Lakers fans, I haven't seen anyone getting excited or anticipating that Love will be a Laker.

He says the most important thing to him is winning. If he stays it will be, if he leaves he just cares about money.

Well, at least we now know what the Cavs fans will say to bash him if he leaves.

Well the Lakers are going after Cousins. So I think Love would be a fool to go to LA. The Celtics supposedly do not want him. He has to stay in Cleveland. Where else would he go? Other than to a team that has no chance at making the playoffs. And that was the situation he was in at Minnesota so why do that again? So this so called rift between Love and LeBron makes me wonder? Is it a bunch of bologna? Is the media stirring up trouble? Well it wouldn't be the first time the media created something from nothing.

Cleveland?? I can't imagine any (reasonable) scenario where they could make that happen... even losing Love and/or Tristan. Unless I'm missing something, its just not possible.

Actually I am just saying that facts. I have already said I wont bash him. I wish him the best wherever he goes, he doesnt make or break this team.

You also already said that if he leaves, he's just interested in money, not winning.

That isn't necessarily a "bash" though. Nothing wrong with someone making a career decision based on money, or their role at a certain company, or any other reason they may have.
