nah bro quit sipping haterade......kaep is accomplished, and awesome and elite, and is better than everyone.......one second we say were paying for potential, then were paying for accomplishment, then its just the going rate.........were not sure, but were defending him!

I dont I have seen anyone say he was the best. He is a Top 10 QB. I bet u 20+ teams wish they had him.

its the going rate for good qb's who are proven, kaeps, played 1.5 years as a starter.........and hes been kinda rocky, and choked when it counted, and cant read progressions............explain to me how anyone other than a 49'ers fan doesnt see that...........

Colin Kaepernick extended through 2020 season | ProFootballTalk

read the comments there, hundreds of them all echo the same things being said here.............but its me and my steelers complex

Wow…that is too much $$ for a bridesmaid.

"Also makes about the same as Romo and Cutler and Kap has proven a lot more then they have. It is the going rate. Watch what happens when QBs like Wilson, Dalton, RG3, Luck and Cam get more or about the same. We were just smart to sign our first.

12 million in signing bonus."

signing first or not he deserves less than those guys.......thats jsut how your going to justify the number

Romo and cutler may have not had the post season success, but they have proven they can play QB, like a qb should, and make reads, and throws and progressions............

Nothing wrong with that. U say McNabb 2.0 like its a bad thing. McNabb was a good QB.

McNabb was a choker that puked on the field and couldn't win the big one.

Just look at his record and what he has done in the post season. Thats how u justify it. U want losers then u can have Romo and Cutler. They have done crap. Talk about choking Romo's nickname is Tony "Int" Romo.

Get real. He's only top ten on the 49er board( got a laugh out of that), on the NFL board is isn't, not even close.

I know, the the 49ers FO really shit the bed on this one. Just messed up the market for young QBs , they are going all in on a hope and a pray here, mean while teams with good young QBs are going have to pay through the nose, well at least those QBs will be worth it.

wouldn't be laugh Wilson for 20 million. Ouch for a guy that doesnt do much. I mean everyone knows the D won the Super Bowl hence MVP was to a defensive player. LOL
