Yup and the record says he sucks. Everybody knows that Kaep = Vick, he can run like the wind, but actually doesn't go thru reads and such, doesn't seem to recognize when someone is covered like a blanket.

U can have wilson. Wilson never had a game like Kap has had against GB or against the ravens in the Super Bowl. Wilson just got lucky to have one of the best Defenses since the Ravens great D.

I am not a seahawks fan, but your right. Seahawks will have to pay more. as you pointed out though. what you are saying about Seahawks defense can be said about Kap & the niners Defense. They have one of the best defenses in the NFL as well. (I would kill to have the niners defense)
Difference I see is Wilson is a more intelligent QB than Kap (which is kinda important for the position)

The Niners pretty much had to make this deal now, as it would be even more costly later. He's a good young QB who should get better. 91.8 passer rating last year. Not bad, and it should be even better this year with another year's experience and an improved receiving corps.

I think we're all counting the seconds til opening kickoff. You can bet your ass there are a bunch of DE's circling the 49ers game on their schedule. I love how the Seattle/San Fran games are late in the season when they have the most potential to fuck somebody's playoffs chances up.

I predict if Seattle sweeps them, the 49ers board walks off SportsHoopla.

it should, your right, rock and a hard place, just a ton to pay for 1.5 inconsistent years..........if you wanna cherry pick stats

199.8 pass yards per game.......quite low

Obviously that's how the guys upstairs felt, otherwise they'd have waited til at least the end of the season. As a fan of that team, you better hope like hell they're right because they mortgaged everything on this guy that a lot of fans have legitimate concerns about. Is Kaep that good or are they playing to the fans' demands?

well this is true with the QB spot.
If you know you are gonna sign your QB to a long term deal, do it as fast as possible, because the price for all QBs is only going to continue to go up. (absurdly I might add)
