Yup and the record says he sucks. Everybody knows that Kaep = Vick, he can run like the wind, but actually doesn't go thru reads and such, doesn't seem to recognize when someone is covered like a blanket.

Good luck with that, your going to need it.

Damn I didn't know 17-6 was a bad record plus 4-2 in the playoffs with 2 NFC championship games and 1 super bowl appearance. 2 loses in the playoffs have been to the super champs.

Damn that sucks. :laugh3:

hey with a great defense & a running game even Trent Dilfer can win a superbowl. That doesn't mean he was a top notch QB.

it should, your right, rock and a hard place, just a ton to pay for 1.5 inconsistent years..........if you wanna cherry pick stats

199.8 pass yards per game.......quite low

LOL, you're saying I cherry-picked stats because I didn't give his whole stat line? Passing yards/game is less reliable of a stat than passer rating. Brandon Weeden's passing yard/game was higher than Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick last season, but we all know Weeden sucks.

who cares about passing yards. Look at stafford. Has a ton, hasn't done much. He has 2.8/1(almost 3 to 1) TD to Int Ratio. He as a 17-6 record plus a 4-2 winning playoff record. How is this inconsistent? I don't get it. The guy has done more then most QBs in a career and he just started.

If it were such an open-n-shut case, you wouldn't have to try to convince so many skeptics.

A winning team that has a chance to win it every year. Not a lot of teams really feel like they can win every year. There are only a few. 49ers and Kap are one of them.

Yes I want a Super Bowl but as a fan Im happy to see my team win. He is a NFC champion. Not a lot of starting QBs in this league right now can say that.

Obviously that's how the guys upstairs felt, otherwise they'd have waited til at least the end of the season. As a fan of that team, you better hope like hell they're right because they mortgaged everything on this guy that a lot of fans have legitimate concerns about. Is Kaep that good or are they playing to the fans' demands?

I read it's 18 million/year because it's an extension and you have to count this year. With NFL salaries only going up and the salary cap going up, this deal won't look too bad as long as he makes even just modest progress. Every team will have more salary cap room and I imagine that other QB's will be getting over 20 million/year. If Kaepernick does reasonably well this upcoming season, you can bet that there would be a handful of teams offering him a huge contract.

'nuff said

I see a great play by one of the best CBs in the league. If anything I see a bad play call.

It sucks to see that but hats off to sherman and seattle D's. Great play.
