No women.

And we're a field service company, most guys are alone or with one other guy throughout the day. I dont care what they say to eachother or around me (as long as theyre getting along, no fighting words), just keep it clean around the customers.

So not a gangster rapper. Word.

If the NFL were a fighter and in a never-ending fight with NFL player indiscretions who is also a fighter. When Coop's indiscretion came to light. It was an OK punch by the player indiscretion fighter, but the NFL fighter shook that right off and continued kickin ass.

When CK's indiscretion or alleged indiscretion, as he's denying it, but when it came to light. The NFL fighter was in the corner and wobbly as hell. As the player indiscretion fighter just landed some Rice, Peterson, Ray McDonald and Greg Hardy hellified haymakers along with some vicious body shots. All set up nicely by the double jab of the Gordon and Welker drug suspensions.

Or put another way...............its all about timing.

If Kap's incident happens last year during a game we don't even hear about it. If Coop's incident happens or comes to light less than 2 weeks ago. He's on the deactivated or exempt list right now imo.

A pretty decent analogy here, Breed, makes perfect sense too in respect to the element of timing, well said.

The NFL totally dropped the ball on the Riley Cooper incident. The Philadelphia Eagles didn't fare any better with their window dressing antics. If any man (starter, franchise player or otherwise) ever uses derogatory and demeaning language the way Riley Cooper did, he should be dealt with rather than coddled.

The integrity of the game is tarnished when a player can actually say, "I'll fight every ****** in here...", and then is allowed to wear a uniform representing any team in the league. Guess "winning" is more important to some people than doing the right thing. Really disappointed in how the Eagles handled this matter.

When two people from opposing 'teams' heard him say the word, I am going to believe he said the word over his denial. And by two teams, I mean a player for one team & the official on the field.

The rule was emphasized in the offseason after what happened last year. It's not like players had no warning this would happen if you said the word to an opposing player.

Cannot be any fairer than giving everyone a heads up beforehand.

Really an unfortunate matter in both cases (CK's and Riley "I'll fight every ****** in here" Cooper's).

Let's play football men:

*not hurt the weaker sex/those we profess to love with clinched fist
*not drive impaired under the influence of alcohol and/or substance abuse like the general public's safety doesn't matter.
*certainly not bully a fellow "teammate"
*nor use derogatorily demeaning language towards an entire group of people

Bring back a sense of class and respect w/integrity to the NFL. Anything less is a bunch of overpaid, insensitive, self-centered, pompous jerks. It's way pass time for the NFL to hit the refresh button on their code of conduct language. Zero-tolerance for anything less than classy on and off the field.
