They can cut him at anytime ant not pay a dime in dead money. He took a contract that was a year to year incentive laden contract. His contract is very tradable. If I was the Jets or the Eagles I might look to trade for him. He would be an upgrade for the Jets who have no one right now and he would fit in perfectly with the offensive style of Chip Kelley.

Only problem is... who actually wants him?

There are enough head coaches/GMs/Owners out there with an ego that says 'I can fix that shit". The problem is "that shit" is getting deeper by the day. Mr. Headphones is not doing himself any favors.

I do think Philly would jump on him.

I personally think he should stay in San Fran and start as long as possible… I'm sure Rams and Seahawks fans would agree. :trash:
While true, I think no one is prepared for how funny Blaine Gabbert behind a bad oline and a bad running game is going to be. He might have more negative plays than completions.

How did Kaepernick look so good when Harbaugh was there? I don't get it.

Same reason RGKnee looked good

Every defense was running some version of the two deep safety cover two. That left the defensive end alone on an island with the responsibility to tackle two people. That always failed. Which led to the linebackers biting on every play action, which left huge holes in the middle of the field.

Teams dumped the cover two and moved to cover three, cover one, and more nickle personnel. Read-option no longer worked.

Sometimes you get surprised in the NFL by teams you think are going to be terrible but end up being pretty good, as well as teams you expect to be good that end up being garbage.......

no surprise here though.

I thought 0-12 was coming. I am absolutely amazed they beat the Vikings and the Ravens.

And to think this guy (Kaepernick) was a Sherman tip away from going to two straight SBs, with Jaws describing him as the "future" of the QB position in the NFL. Talk about jumping the shark....

I guess spending the summer working out with Kurt Warner didn't help. He probably learned some new bible verses though, maybe got some new tattoo ideas. So there's that.
