I just don't think that the committee ever lets a G5 in.

Hypothetical: Memphis beats Temple and is 13-0. OU loses to Baylor in Big12 Championship. Cincinnati somehow beats OSU and loses twice to Memphis. Is Memphis in? Remember, they had more top25 wins than Baylor or Clemson.

Gotta play an OOC big boy and get lucky they only lose 1 game or schedule two big OOC games. It's possible imo just very very difficult

The problem with #3 is that almost no marquee OOC opponents will schedule a team like Memphis. They can't afford to lose.

They will schedule Memphis in a 2:1 or a 1 and done.

Baylor's SOS is 28.
Memphis' SOS is 70 (would be worse with an additional Temple loss)

I' not talking about some computer generated SOS. Baylor did not not beat as many top25 teams as Memphis.

If Cincy beat OSU? They lost 42-0!

If Memphis had beaten Temple they would have had 5 top 25 wins and a win over an SEC opponent. How may top25 wins does Clemson have? Oklahoma? They would stlll not be in.

The AAC should be a P5(6) conference, but they are not. I think that Memphis, Cincinnati, UCF, Navy and SMU would all have finished better than Virginia in the ACC this year.

Please name off these top 25 wins.

I have Cinci x2 and Navy. I’m missing the other two. And the SEC opponent finished as 12th in the SEC, not exactly a quality win.

If they've got 4 OOC games, and seriously want to challenge for a CFP spot, they need at least 3 P5 teams on the schedule, with 2 of them conference contenders and none of them bodybags.

Memphis beat 0 top 20 teams. The only top 25 teams they beat were Navy and Cincy.

They did play a bunch of bottom-feeders, as noted in my earlier post.

It really doesn't matter. The point is that the system gives no chance to a G5 team. How many top 20 wins does Clemson have? Amd no, I'm not stupid enough to say that Memphis better than Clemson.

1 and? It doesn’t change the fact that you blatantly lied about how many ranked wins Memphis had and you weren’t even that close. And if you are trying to fake prop up your schedule by crowning beating Ole Miss as some accomplishment it just shows how weak memphis’s resume was.
