he forgot how to hit and quit........sorry a moth flew in my face that should have said or
With the exception of Big D there seems to be a sincere lack of sympathy, compassion and understanding exhibited on this thread. Don't you guys have a dog to kick?
after his ridiculous start last year...from june 1st 2012 until this june.....a whole year if you dont grasp that blade he has hit .232 , 30hrs , 89 rbis, 57 bb, 181 k's
yeah he didnt forget how to hit at all.......oh well at least he still played hard in the field
how yeah thats right he didnt do that either....thats why he lazily went after a fly ball in the last game of the season with the division on the line and dropped hit
blade you are so wrong on this....he quit on the rangers and forgot how to hit
Well, at least you aren't emotionally involved and bitter, so you got that going for you.

I'm not going to lie, I would take that line from a hitter. Perhaps not at Hamilton's price tag, but that's a hitter I would be just fine having in my lineup.

I agree, i like having this type of player on my team... the only problem is when you have more than one of these players on your team.. It quickly becomes a HR or nothing offense, and the better pitching faced the more often the nothing happens...

No shit. Sadly, a player with those stats would be the team MVP on the Mariners.
Maybe on offense, but I'd give my left nut for King Felix on my team!
This thread is getting kind of disjointed. And, though nobody asked, let me see if I can summerize and opine at the same time.
1) Money is not everything. Until you don't have enough to live on. Then, it is everything.
Does that pretty well take care of this?
Why IN THE WORLD does Scioscia have a braindead .211 hitter in the 2-hole with Callasp, Aybar, Burjous, Conger and Kendrick spread out from 5-9??? Hamilton is the obvious 9-hole and then can be moved up if/when he comes alive. And don't say cause Pujols is providing protection, cause he's not!
Pujols is starting to heat up a bit but I agree they really should have someone else in the two hole. Provide more speed at the top with Trout too. More chances for Pujols with men in scoring position and possibly off of 1B to avoid that DP.
By "heating up" you mean batting .250 or better.
