I can't see the Browns trading for anything less than a 2nd and than some.

From their point of view they are a good QB away from being competitive and when you draft a QB which they likely will you want to have some weapons for him to work with.

Gordon is on a cheap rookie contract and locked up for at least another 2 years which makes trading him away even less enticing.

Of course what I just said above is the reason the 9ers should make a push for him because they would have a young guy under a rookie contract for at least 2 years that could be a huge part of our offense.

Although it would be a huge risk, the addition of Gordon along with Aldon coming back and a healthy Tank Carradine / Dial would make the Niners pretty friggn' scary IMO.

The only thing I could see improving that is if Seymour signed late in the season. Ray McDonald has a torn biceps, and I don't want to see him wear down towards the end of the season like JSmith did last year.

Here's the big question: if the Niners traded for Gordon & Crabby got healthy, who would be the 2 starting WRs? Gordon & Crabby?

Boldin is perfect for the slot, and it'd probably be a good idea to limit him at his age. But I wonder if they'd just run a lot of 3 WR sets with all 3 of those guys on the team??? Gordon would be a perfect flanker, and Crabby could move back to split end where he belongs.

Probably won't happen anyway, but it's fun to think about. That WR corps would give even the Seahawks' defense fits.

Boldin could really take over that Delanie role in that situation. imagine sending out a lineup with boldin, vernon, crabs, gordon, and gore. you could really smash some nickel D's in the mouf with that crew!

I think a 3rd and James would be awesome! But that implies that James has some value, what has he shown to date that proves he has any real value in the NFL?

Crabtree and Gordon could be a great 1/2 combo for the next few years!

It would certainly be a great combo' for 2013 & 2014, but I don't see how the Niners could afford to keep 'em both long term.

Crabtree is gonna get paid big time (like Percy Harvin money or close to it), and I'm hoping the Niners aren't the ones to do it.

When is the trade deadline? According to my Madden game, it is Week 6.

Crabtree is coming off a pretty bad injury. I'm not so sure he's gonna get paid big time.

He'll have an entire year to come back from it before he hits FA. I'm sure some team will give him double-digit millions per year.

Wouldn't mind the Pats trading a 2nd or 3rd for Gordon.
