I wouldn't hate this trade, but I wonder if Jim is just trying to move Regehr out East in order for Ales Hemsky to stop getting nailed by Regehr...

It's funny, on Calgarypuck they hate this trade (i.e. the majority of folks think it's a steal for Washington). I agree puck, if think this would be a great swap for Calgary, but why would the Caps be interested in Regehr?
