Carter is mostly just hype to start with, look at his production and then compare:

Carter career stats college: 83 tackles, 18.5 TFL, 6 sacks, 0 int, 4 PD, 2 FF, 0 FR

Andersons stats in college: 205 tackles, 62 TFL, 34.5 sacks, 1 int, 4 PD, 1 FF, 0 FR

He's been out of shape the last two seasons, something he acknowledges with "I need to work on conditioning" statements at the end of each season but as shown he doesn't follow through. This isn't the first time he's been pulled over for traveling at insane speed in his vehicle. He has bust written all over him.

Even after being informed that he could leave, Mr. Carter returned to the scene at the request of the Athens-Clarke County Police Department to answer additional questions and continued to cooperate throughout the investigation.”

Oh College athletes are 100% getting paid on the side or given gifts and invested on by I'm sure multiple parties. So many of the 1st rounders arrive with diamonds all over the place and jewelry, please...

If the Eagles got him that would be an effin dangerous D line for sure … I still think he’s drafted high, it’s not a deep D line draft from all accounts and someone is gonna take that chance I think …

Anderson is the better prospect … I think barring any surprise moves the Cards are gonna nab Anderson …

For any type of legal issue you need an Attorney period even if you think are 1000000000000% innocent of everything. The legal system is not your friend and not designed to protect you . In this situation You give the officers your Name & ID and tell them I will speak with you but I want an Attorney present before I do. The answers to any questions after that are I want my attorney please. Any officer worth his badge will tell you that is your right and the best way to handle anything. It might pizz them off but it’s your freedom on the line not theirs. In this situation the officers at the scene can detain you or let you go. Attorneys Handle the rest.

Given the big red flags that Carter had, I was ok with passing up on him. He seems like an emotional headcase, but ya never know how these guys will age.
