Unless the ball was run by RR's wife out of an elevator. then maybe?
Truth be known, I'll bet she was one drink away from hitting the floor without the love tap.

can i nominate belichiks 4th and 2 call vs the colts?
Wilson had a better shot to do a QB sneak or just scramble and run it in.
I honestly never considered that a bad call. Sometimes it's better to throw a first-pitch curveball if you know the hitter is sitting on a fastball.
Truth is Butler made a fantastic read and perfectly timed his undercut on the route. He doesn't get enough credit for the game-clinching defensive play.
If it was the Pats at the one and it was Sherman who made the play, it would probably be pimped by the media as the greatest defensive play in Superbowl history.
This, you are spot on. For it to be the worst play call you would need to assume that there was a 100% probability that beast mode would have punched it in, which is obviously false. What if they ran it and he failed, would that have been the worst play in history? people would be singing a different tune, that's for sure, "seawhawks got too conservative, they should have tried something else," blah, blah, blah
Beastmode is not a 1 yard runner esp up middle, now if it was on the 5 yard line , would have pitched to that guy and he runs it outside and in. Pats have been very good at goal-line situations on run, have been burned on, fake and pass
true, at one yard the beast mode has not spooled up yet, but many have said that handing off to him was a sure TD.

It seems like the most logical thing to do being on 1 yard line, but not a given. I'm sure if they handed him the ball and he fumbles, all the pundits would be saying what a dumb call
No, they'd be calling the RB butterfingers or hands of stone. It seems like the most logical thing to do being on 1 yard line, but not a given. I'm sure if they handed him the ball and he fumbles, all the pundits would be saying what a dumb call
You don't throw a first pitch curveball if its the bottom of the 9th and you have a closer that you to the World Series because he throws 100. The curveball pitch is Wilson running. Wilson passing would be like throwing a forkball.I honestly never considered that a bad call. Sometimes it's better to throw a first-pitch curveball if you know the hitter is sitting on a fastball.

No question....Butler was far and away the MVP to me with Edelman a close 2nd....flat out joke who got the awardNope, Butler should have been MVP as part of a 50-50 with Edelman. Those 2 had HUGE games.

You can argue that it was the wrong call but this claim that Bevell doesn't know his offense is absurd.
The Seahawks were woefully poor at goal line situations. Marshawn is an exceptional running back because he is one of the best at breaking a tackle but he can't break 3 tackles behind the line which is what often happened in those situations.

sonny, a lot of people here are just...well...dumb.Guy had over 300 yards, 4 tds, over 70% completion, over 100 QBR and helped orchestrate the biggest 2nd half comeback in SB really isn't a flatout joke. Edelman was huge and could have shared in the award
