Hey! SB is on the line, we have the most punishing RB in football and the most mobile QB in football. I have a great idea! Let's throw a timing pattern over the middle short of the end zone! Fucking genius!!!
What about this one! There are worse Seattle related calls than that one.
Calling Rick Meier's name with the 2nd pick in the draft.
Calling Aaron Curry's name with the 4th pick in the draft.
Calling Dan Mcguires name in the 1st round.
Howard Schultz returning the call from the carpetbagger in Oklahoma.
Calling Lou Pinella into the office to let him know his services were no longer needed by the Mariners.
For any that care, the OP is confirming that Seattle lost the SB instead of NE winning it.
That is a new chip on the shoulder of the Seahawks. They tend to like to have as big of a chip as possible to use for motivation. That call in SB49 provided the chip they seek.
I think most Seahawk fans like the call, but not the outcome. What about this one!
The tuck rule is the worst call ever. If not for the patriots crying the would be nothingIf not for the worst call ever, Brady would be backing up Geno for the Jets.

This play was a function of the no time out call from Bill. I was screaming time out! but BB knew what he was doing in the end. They likely would have run Lynch next if they had more time. A time out likely would have cost the Patriots the game.
No, the play was a function of Bevell not knowing the strengths and weaknesses of his own fucking offense. I've seen them try to run that play before with the exact same result. The guy's clueless. He has no concept of game situation and will make the same call whether it's half way through the first quarter in the preseason vs. that.
You can argue that it was the wrong call but this claim that Bevell doesn't know his offense is absurd.
The Seahawks were woefully poor at goal line situations. Marshawn is an exceptional running back because he is one of the best at breaking a tackle but he can't break 3 tackles behind the line which is what often happened in those situations.
Whats the context here? As far as I can tell, you couldn't be more wrong. The Seahawks were woefully poor at goal line situations.

According to Football Outsiders, Seattle had a power rank of 78% last year which was 2nd in the NFL and 6th best at not being 'stuffed' for negative yards. The power rank also includes Wilson's ability to scramble but clearly they were elite at converting short yardage last year which is something they weren't elite at in previous years most likely due to a more inconsistent and unhealthy oline in previous years.
New England had a power rank with their defense of 81% conversion for the other team which was 32nd in the NFL. They only 'stuffed' opponents for negative yards 16% of the time which was 28th in the league.
Its the worst call in the history of the NFL.
Unless the ball was run by RR's wife out of an elevator. then maybe? The Hawks were one yard away from winning back to back SBs. He's Marshawn Lynch. Ray Rice's haymaker wouldn't have stopped him.
