I have NO respect for that franchise Outlaw.. Its dirty, and stinks!! But hey, Goodell will make this go away real fast!! And put the clamps on his bitch ESPN to shut up!! Now instead of Pat fans talking SB, they once again have to defend the team they cheer for.. I would rather keep my Cred and LOSE, than get busted for cheating and WIN!! But that's just me.. Anyways??????????? Go Raiders!!

I completely agree, Idaho. The Pats fans were rooting for a gang banger and murderer just a few years ago, yet we are the fans who are considered hooligans?

Could you imagine the Black Hole going wild after Suh stomps someone out, literally?

Stephen A. is basically a known phag who sees things positively or negatively solely based on if the person in question hangs out with him or not. If they're his "boyz" he will definitely say something good.

I can already visualize the yellow flags flying like Stuka dive bombers over Belgium, Suh not a good fit here man, sorry.

PLEASE NO SUH.

IM afraid i have to agree with FlaRaider on Suh.. But if we get him?? Welcome!!
Anyways im down with Musgrave.. Its easy to see the Raiders want to put Carr in a Philly type O..
He is an Up Tempo type QB!! But make no mistake!! We will Power RUN as well.. Musgrave is known to power RUN, and we got Tice who loves to power RUN!! Wide open attack with Power RUN!!

hate to appear to be debbie downer all the time. i was more in line with trestman. musgrave was the OC when nick foles had his setback season. running game never got off with lesean mccoy. ill give him a chance. but wanted trestman over him.

Musgrave was the OC in Del Rio's first couple seasons in Jacksonville, 2003 and 2004.

I would have preferred Trestman also, but Musgrave has to be better than who we had this past season.

Shurmur was the OC Trojan.. Musgrave was the QB coach, just like Lazor was.. And Sanchez looked like Montana at times.. Their OL was banged up most of the year as well.. Plus we got Tice to install that Nasty RUN game we all want.. Musgrave will develop Carr and put him in a wide open pass attack, while tice develops that Power run game with the help of Musgrave..

yeah my mistake i got it backwards...maybe musgrave should be QB coach. i just don't know if they are making the necessary hirings to give team best chance to win. sanchez looked ok at times...but again foles looked worse. who they get in free agency will largely determine how far they go.

Trojan, here is some truth bro.. Any coach out there with a great system, and a crappy QB is going to get fired.. They all have at one time or another.. Now, you get said coach and his great system with great QB play, that coach would be considered one of the best coaches in the game.. Why do you think i wanted Shurmur?? His system, With Carr's arm talent and 4.6 speed?? Well you get the point.. Let's see if some of that Philly O rubbed off on Musgrave.. We already know Musgrave likes to power RUN, and throw deep!!
Let's see if he brings a little Chip with him as well..

Interesting hire for OC. Musgrave while having a history as a QB coach really hasn't done well quarterback wise when an OC. Now given he hasn't had the whose who of quarterbacks to work with but really it seems like the run game is more where he finds success. Overall as an outside perspective Musgrave seems like a pretty mediocre hire. His best offense in 18 years in the NFL finished 14th in points scored. Not really a great resume if that is the case. He has experience with Del Rio though so sometimes coaches having that like mindedness makes a big difference.

cd, most of the QBs Musgrave has worked with have had career years!! The guy is great with QBs, and we have a young phenom one, that needs to be developed some more.. The 411 is out on Musgrave on all major Raider Blogs.. He is a good hire.. And we get a bonus from him as well.. He got to learn that Chip Kelly ball, that he will blend into our O.. And our run game was lacking last year.. That should be fixed with the addition of Musgrave and Mike Tice.. And Who knows?? Maybe we even add Beast Mode, or draft Gordon\ Gurley to add to Murray!! Let's see how it plays out.. Oh i see you guys hired a retread coach like we did.. There is ONLY 2 kind of coaches in football.. Up and Comer and Retread..

I guess I just look at the Oakland off season as being a bit meh at this point compared to what was being talked earlier this season. I mean you guys were throwing out names like Harbaugh and Gruden for head coach. Then you end up with Del Rio who isn't a bad hire by any means just seems more like a stepping stone type coach that can help get the organization back on track but probably not a Super Bowl type coach. Then we get to the OC and many of you were pretty excited about the idea of Trestman who is considered by many one of the better Offensive minds in football yet then go with Musgrave who again isn't a bad hire just not quite that make you jump out of your seat with excitement hire.

Now about him coaching up their best years. I guess it depends on what stats you are going by for that discussion. Throw in taking crap quarterbacks and making them below average isn't what I would call something to get excited about. I mean yes they showed some improvement but going from almost cut in the NFL to maybe 20th in the NFL for quaterbacks isn't quite what I would consider awe inspiring. Throw in his offenses just have not been that good at scoring. To me that is the most important part of an offense and that is actually one of the worst stats of any team he has been on.

Again not terrible hires for you guys but nothing that honestly leaves me shaking in my boots as one who cheers for someone else in the division.

But let me guess cd?? He is a GREAT hire for you guys right?? But ours is like meh?? Right dude??
Is that how you going to roll cd??

Sheesh Idaho I thought you would have figured out by now I am an optimist but I can also notice when things are not perfect. Bronco fans know Del Rio probably better than almost any fanbase out there so what we have to say I would recommend you listen as it will save you a lot of heartache in the end. If you go in with realistic ideas of what to expect then you can't be too disappointed. Del Rio as I have said is a decent hire. He does a decent job of coaching players up. His defenses are known for being amazing against the run. I would say his major issue though is he is too darn stubborn to change how he does defense. He will try to fit square pegs into round holes and if you don't fit he doesn't care. He also refuses to to in-game changes. So if you guys are losing early in a game don't expect comebacks.

As for the Bronco hire I have no problem admitting that Kubiak was not my first choice. I was a big Teryl Austin fan (the DC of the Lions). I thought he would do great with the young players we have on defense as he is great at maximizing players and putting them in a position to succeed. He also seemed like a very motivated guy that players want to play for.

Kubiak was actually my 3rd choice. I also wanted to give David Shaw (coach at Stanford) a chance to see what he could do in the NFL.

I do have concerns with Kubiak. His last season in Houston was a disaster (obviously if you get fired as a coach it is because something went wrong). It just seemed like he lost the players in that final season. Throw in probably my biggest concern with Kubiak is the fact that he collapsed in the middle of a game on the field. Already saw that with Fox going down and just do not like the idea of the stress this game will put on his heart. I also have some concerns defensively. He obviously is not a defensive guy so who he hires to coach up the defense will be huge for the Broncos.

Positives that I see though are he has Bronco roots. He and Elway are pretty much best friends and discuss football all the time (even before we hired him). So they will be on the same page on what it takes to make a Super Bowl competing team. I am also a big fan of the Broncos bringing back the ZBS with Kubiak. The Broncos churned out thousand yard rushers pretty much every single year no matter who we put in the backfield. I am excited for the Broncos to get back to what won us Super Bowls in the run game. I also like that he is a previous quarterback and that quarterbacks have had success in his systems. Heck he made Schaub a pro bowl level quarterback and now without Kubiak Schaub can't even hardly get on an NFL roster. Same in watching Flacco this past year in he really improved under Kubiak. I actually think Osweiler (supposedly the future of the Broncos) fits well in a Kubiak type system and honestly a big reason the Broncos went so hard after Kubiak. We shall see if he has success or not.

All in all I am happy with the Broncos choice but we shall see how it turns out. No matter what it is goin to be hard for any coach to come in and have as much success as that of Fox these past few years with the Broncos. He benefited from having Manning as his quarterback. Kubiak possibly has that for one year if that.

Sorry dude, but sometimes you put this little vibe out there.. Well, i guess im the same type of dude at times.. And ya you see the good first like i do.. Anyways, Del Rio = Kubiak pretty much?? Just one is D and the other O.. They both are respected, both have won, and both have been fired.. Its pretty much the same dude.. And there's alot of ******* out there, that PM and Kubiak can't work together.. If im Elway, i let PM walk!! And i don't say that as a Raider fan either.. Use his CAP money to sign all my TOP FAs, and roll with Osweiller for the year, trade up in the draft, and draft Bryce Petty!! Petty is the next CARR just watch!! He will drop a little, and yet be the best QB in this draft.. Im thinking the Rams snag him though!!
Now the Raider fan in me would NOT like to see that happen!! Petty in Kubiaks O i don't want to see!!

The more I read on Kubiak the more I realize I think he would do just fine with Manning. Yes he couldn't run all of the naked bootlegs with Peyton like he has done for most of his career working with the offense but the playaction, ZBS, and stretch run plays should all still be able to be done. If Manning is healthy I want him back big time. Kubiak is known for getting the most out of his quarterbacks so for Manning getting the most out of him means MVP type play. Can't pass on that. If he isn't 100% though then yes it is time for him to hang them up. I will say though a Kubiak type system is exactly what Manning needs at this point in his career in it will be more run oriented taking the pressure off Manning to have to do everything. See this in my opinion has been one of the biggest differences between a guy like Manning and that of Tom Brady. The Patriots realize you can't just have your quarterback be everything to your team. Brady can have a bad day and the Patriots can still win. Manning has a bad day and all hell breaks loose. A system where Manning is the 2nd option not the 1st is what his career needs. The issue is can Manning take that back seat?
