Matt Kemp will be the next Yankee player with a huge contract that exceeds his worth

He already has that with the Dodgers and I see them shipping out Ethier but no other OF this year unless things get hopeless and they can move Crawford to ease payroll and build for next year. I do expect Kemp to get hot and have a streak at some point but the contract was a huge mistake, especially in light of Puig's emergence. Ethier was already expendable but now he has to go.

Like I've been saying on the Dodgers board, I can realistically see Ethier going to the Padres in a package where they pay his contract and send us pitching prospects (maybe even a starter) and we give them Headley, who could be the crucial last piece to the Dodgers going from worst-to-first in the division.

Hell, I love the Padres but all I really care about in the division is the Giants not making the playoffs. It's the same every year for me.
