I haven't heard anything about Oregon St since they lost to that FCS team.

Little was mentioned because it was overshadowed by the Kansas St loss to NDSU.

Is Oregon St back in the picture?

Why are you here? Are you serious

Calm the fuck down. Utah being a "contender" because they beat Utah State isn't relevant or newsworthy, and clearly they aren't on the level of the higher level teams.

Who are the "Higher Level Teams" of the PAC south, and how high are they?

Dark horse? Very dark, but with a first year QB and other problems they would need a lot of things falling their way. The south is still UCLA's to lose and the most likely to take it are ASU and zona in that order. If zona can prove they are for real on defense then they take over as most likely. Won't know until conference play on either of them. Utah would be lucky to finish 4th in the south this year.

First year QB???? Wha......and what other problems ? Dude don't tell me your following the UTES come on Wiz snap out of it you have no idea what happening up on the hill. Oh and snows in the forecast this Saturday have fun with that

PRETTY MUCH sums it up, BUT the defense played a whole lot better yesterday and shut down an inept Hawaii offense ALL game and especially in the 2nd halfer.

ARE THEY BACK?...They never left, what the hell are you people talking about? EWU? AGAIN?

PAC12 starts up this coming weekend and EVERYONE basically starts that season with the same record last I checked.

2012 PAC 12 South Standings

UCLA (9-5)
USC (7-6)
Arizona St (8-5)
Arizona (8-5)

That higher level looks mid-range for most conferences.

Snow? Bring it on, Beavers can get their running game going too, cuz the Utes aint gonna stop Mannion's pass stats from going anywhere but up either. QB is on fire! Accurate and timely with receivers who are catching ball thrown anywhere near em.:laugh3::suds:

And they all beat Utah last year. I think Utah could beat USC this year, but it'd be a huge upset if they beat Arizona State, UCLA or Arizona. This is like starting a "Minnesota is a darkhorse contender in the B1G Legends" because they beat 2 nobodies.

I didn't say 'darkhorse'. I said sleeper.

Utah St would go 8-4 in the B-one-G

That's a good win for Utah.

Most conferences don't play 9 conference games, or face the stiff OOC competition the PAC does.

Minnesota would go 11-1 in the SEC. See? I can say stupid shit too. USU would be a 2-6 team at best in the B1G. Don't be such a blind moron.

Darkhorse and sleeper are synonymous, by the way.

I'm sure Utah State could beat Iowa, Purdue, Indiana, Minnesota and Illinois this season. That isn't really to far fetched either IMO.

Right, so regardless of what division they were in, it wouldn't be good. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say that, if their schedule worked where they got to face all 5 of those teams, there is an outside shot they could go .500. Minny and Illinois would beat them, IMO.
