As I have stated in other threads about this subject , he didn't really start this to protest anything. He was pouting because he was benched. Once it gained attention he came up with that excuse.

I was fine with his protest until I found out he didn't vote, then he just became an attention whore.

Fuck him.

Pretty simple. He's a lefty in Californina. His vote wouldn't have changed anything; California was going to carry for Hillary regardless, as would seem to be his preference. Carried the popular vote nationwide as well.

It's more simple than that; Americans who don't vote are parasites. Regardless of what the outcome is perceived to be, if you don't care enough to participate in your democracy, why should anyone listen to your grievances?

You just love to hate, don't you? Until the popular vote means something again, there is no value in voting for a candidate guaranteed to win your state.

There should be an intelligence test required in order to vote. Free test available at any post office, take it when you register just like a driving test. We wouldn't be almost at war with North Korea right now if that were the case.

The voting system needs a reboot; it has been corrupted beyond recognition. Redraw all the districts to make sense geographically and eliminate the electoral college for starters.

I'm no fan of the electoral college either. Or union's for that matter but that's a different thread.
I'm like the masses. If you choose not to vote don't bitch. The electoral college is what we have, so until it's changed (not likely to happen) we have to deal with it. I didn't vote for either candidate but I voted.
Kap is a waste of human body parts.

I prefer to not vote and still bitch.

It's a lot of fun. Folks get so riled up....

Time has nominated some evil people over the years as its person of the year including Hitler and Stalin so this isn't any indictment on society today. I don't agree with the way Kaep went about protesting but that doesn't make him a bad person. He has donated money to causes and helped kids in our area with birth defects through Camp Taylor long before the protests.

I participated by voting for everything except the President. Which I left blank. If there are no candidates worthy of my vote, they will not earn my vote. I wish there was an option of NOTA but a filled out ballot with that part empty will have to do for now.

I find this worse than not caring and not voting at all. If you're going to vote, you pick between the choices in front of you. Taking your ball and going home isn't a reasonable option IMO. By willfully not voting, you allow things like a Trump presidency to happen.

The popular vote has never meant anything in our Presidential elections and it will never will. The electoral college isn't going anywhere, time to get over it.

First of all, you should know you're walking into a chicken restaurant, as this restaurant is heavily advertised ad nauseum. If there is only one restaurant and my health depends on eating this meal? Yes.

Haven't voted since 1987 up here.

Little or no interest. Always seems to be same pigs, just eating out of a different trough.

Seems odd that you don't care about Canadian national politics since you appear to be obsessed with ours.

The members of the electoral college have NEVER voted against the popular vote of their state. What is the purpose?

Come on Rexie, you have to admit your politics are in everybody's face these days.

I try my best to avoid it but President Dump and his family are everywhere.

Kaepernick isn't politics, it's social commentary.....
