So Ruth, Cobb, Speaker aren't some of the greatest ever cuz it was too long ago?

IMO, baseball has changed over the years and players like Ruth, Cobb, and Speaker would have a hard time with today's baseball.

See but thats not really true, baseball is the one sport in which you can compare eras. the only difference between now and then is most players today are trying to hit a home run on every pitch, thats why strikeout rates are insanely high compared to yesteryear.
