this is bad............

According to Yahoo! Sports, Trubisky is the fourth-worst quarterback to be selected in the first round in the last decade:

There are a lot of angry fans in Chicago who would argue this pick is 30th considering they not only traded away four picks to move up one spot to select a third-team All-ACC quarterback with 12 career starts but also passed on Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes in the process of doing so. And we’re open to that argument. But until the book officially closes on Trubisky’s time in Chicago, he stays ahead of the three guys who posted total zeroes for their teams.

To put this in perspective, Trubisky ranks lower than players like Christian Ponder, Jake Locker, Blake Bortles, Tim Tebow, Brandon Weeden and E.J. Manuel, to name a few.

The only first-round quarterbacks who were drafted in the last 10 years who rank below Trubisky are Josh Rosen, Johnny Manziel and Paxton Lynch; not exactly the company any quarterback wants to find themselves in.

Mitch Trubisky ranks among worst first-round QBs of the last decade

Oh no, not call outs. Call me out come playoff time and I promise to make time for you. Were of to a slow start but that is sure to change. I would not want to be peaking by the third game anyway.
When exactly do you want your team to start peaking, @noonthirtyjoe ?

Is he turning a corner or has he taken advantage of a bad Lions and Cowboys defense in back-to-back games?

"Mitch was looking like a complete bust, but now he's clearly a HOFer."

This is his second year?

Isn't it a little early to call anyone a bust in just their second year?

That is the problem with today's analysts/fans. Expect a quarterback to step right into the NFL and become an instant success.

One of the reasons today's NFL sees more David Carrs than Peyton Mannings. Not enough time to allow a rookie to develop into an NFL caliber quarterback.

Third year. He only sat the first four game his rookie season. Started the final 12.

9x out of 10 that ball he threw to Robinson rolling left, across his body and falling away is picked off by the opposition. Literally just floated a ball into a sea of Dallas defenders. My brain twisted into a pretzel when I saw the replay. Just trying to figure out how the fuck no one jumped it.

He made some plays tonight and kept the offense going at a nice rhythm. I have give him that. But he lived dangerously and it was a bumpier ride than many of the remaining Trubisky apologists are making it out to be. The INT was just putrid on the first drive.

It's funny... three weeks ago there were like three Trubisky apologists left in the entire city. Now, suddenly... it's like half of the fan-base was "always backing him".

I can't stomach opening myself backup to be let down by this kid. I can't. Green Bay is going to end our season next Sunday and Trubisky will probably have a big role in that happening. I just can't allow myself to think any other way.

He's a really good kid. I like him. It's not about that. He's good looking too. I think he should marry a smoking hot chick and cozy up for a nice career as a backup QB. Taking no hits to the body in 90% of games and collect millions in the process. Hell, he's a team-first guy. Would probably be a fantastic backup QB.
