Right now, obviously not. Will he be again at some point this year? Who the hell knows.

Nope - I think he made his bed after last season when he stated he wasn't sure he wanted to come back. His heart and head ain't in it.

Could very well be....or he could put up 400 yds and 40 points against KC just because this is just a week-to-week league.

He was pretty awful on the road last season, so the signs were there

Now it seems even at home, where he has been typically great, things arent looking as good

Well, I hate the term "elite" on a good day but Big Ben was always just a good QB on a very good team. Nowadays, I don't know if he has it anymore but the whole team appears to be playing pretty mediocre at times. I don't watch them much so I could be way off here. They just don't look very good right now.

Big Ben absolutely had a window where he was elite.

Now? He is an old man in QB years. Probably not going to bring it every game but he'll have some elite games.

I think a couple of those INTs in the Jags game where a bit of a fluke. I think one was tipped, one was a ridiculous catch by Ramsey. Some of the others were awful decisions, though.

He had a bad game. It happens.

I think they should bring in Kaepernick to light a fire under Ben's ass.

Honestly. That should not be a reason.

Look at Earl Thomas. Guy wanted to retire after the injury last year. Comes back and hasn't missed a beat.

Don't believe me. The ninja move on gurley for a touchback

For now. He is not.

He goes off on a good defense then he will regain his elite status!!!!

To be fair not all those INTs were his fault.. Right through some receivers hands...

But yes right now he doesn't seem like his head is in it

I feel like he has kind of done this throughout his career. Just has some awful games sometimes. Also, the Steelers as a team love to play down to competition. More likely than not, he bounces back.

Well according to him, he's not sure if he still has it....I think maybe his passion may have dropped a teeny bit but he is still a dangerous qb whenever he decides to be....

I think his comments yesterday had as much to do with the frustration as anything else. And maybe just to shut the stupid reporters up. I think they sometimes push these players buttons a bit much, especially after a bad game.

Certainly not elite at this point in his career. But he probably has more in the tank than he has shown so far this season.

That doesn't matter, last week he called out his best wide out for his tantrum on the sideline, its not a one sided topic, bad game or not he shouldn't put out the comments he made yesterday cause some reporter got under his skin, it adds more crap to an offense struggling right now....
