Yes I would - if the Lakers go after him in free agency - he is worth a max contract in my opinion - Averages 23 ppg and 12 rpg almost every game. 6-11 and very athletic center. I would take him in a heartbeat

Byron Scott and Kobe Bryant could handle him. Kobe has had experience with Shaq to draw from in a guard-center combo and Scott has won championships. Cousins is stuck in a cow town with no name coaches and players. You would get upset too in that situation

He already signed a max deal in " Cow Town "

He would need to pull a Sprewell to get traded.

Why would he want to play on a crappy Lakers team?

I actually think he is starting to mature and has learned to relax a bit more

The guy is a freak player and I would take him on the Raptors

The Kings were smart to lock him up - he is definitely a franchise player. Too bad talent like that is getting wasted on the Sacramento Queens(in drag)

If the bulls already weren't loaded in the front court, I would take him. Thibs would get the best out of him.

Yep.

I think Anthony Davis is the future top dog in the NBA.

But, Cousins has the skill to be one hell of a Center.

He needs strong Vets and a players Coach that has credibility and isn't afraid to give constructive criticism.

I don't know how he would respond to Thibbs. But, Pop would be ideal.

It's pretty obvious he doesn't respect many in his current Organization.

I get the impression that Thibbs is a disciplinary.

Fact or Fiction?

His players seem to love him.

But, Cousins has a few emotional issues.

With that being said, he's just a kid....a big ass kid..But, a kid all the same.

His talent is undeniable and he seems genuine about his desire to let his play do all the talking.

You guys have the perfect bigs for that Team.

I'm very happy to see Pau get some love from the fans in the All Star returns.

Why would he want to play on a crappy Lakers team?

With Cousins, the Lakers would no longer be crappy and because the Lakers have a strong history of rebuilding new teams for more championships. The Sacramento Kings has yet to rebuild and do that in the last 20 years or more

THATS WHY:yahoo:

If the Lakers signed him before Kobe retires and Cousins had a chance to learn from him, then Scott could handle him, but if the Lakers couldn't get him until after Kobe has retired - it might be risky and he would be handful, but I agree with the other poster who believes he is calming down and improving and will okay
