Injured Game Official

Wow. Just read that the official injured on the sideline during the Broncos/Ravens game not only broke his collarbone but has 9 broken ribs and a collapsed lung. He remains hospitalized in Denver. Those are some serious injuries. I hope he heals fast. At least he'll get to watch all the Broncos games in his room while in Denver!

Oh wow. I watched how he went down and immediately said to myself "That is a broken collarbone for sure." Those other injuries though man that stinks. I can't imagine being these guys of having to watch everything on the field while also protecting yourself from some of the strongest/fastest guys in the world.

Wow- I figured it was just a collarbone, but thought man I know a collerbone injury can be painful but this guy really looks to be in a lot of pain.

Officials are going to have to start wearing pads. That is a pretty significant wake up call. Not that anything will be changed because it is rare, but I am afraid one day it's going to be even more severe for an official.

Get well soon - he left the Stadium with a lot of dignity and some cheering - I'm proud of him and the Bronco fans.
