I will say this about that last game: I was nervous when I found out we would be doing bullpen rotation again.

Of all the ones that pitched, it became apparent that Montero is just no good when it comes to trying to get more than one out.

All the same, they actually surprised me today by actually pulling it off. Just try not to keep things close, ah?

Pretty shocked that we got the win today.

Bullpen vs Shane Bieber doesn't bode well for bullpen.

Somehow we limited Bieber to <5IP.

This is an instance though of "it is what it is." 20+ years of not winning long term, but every now and then the M's will find a way to beat a pitcher they have no business beating. It's nice to see, but you have to build upon that as a franchise. Take that win every now and then, but win the games you're supposed to win. That's the goal.

I also like that we were able to work it out with Kelenic going 0 for. Shows that we don't have to rely on the new talent.
