Had to run after the 2nd inning last night to go celebrate my sister's birthday. Unsurprised by the result.

Will be fun to see who demonstrates they're our true #2 this season because it ain't Ray. League's getting him figured more and more every game and he isn't going to magically find new pitches.

I didn’t actually see the game, did he look like he was hurt at all, or is this a mental break.

Week or so of mental gymnastics and whatever else it takes to get his melon unf*cked while the club orders some extra strength Vagisil for him.

Cleveland on the board first, but it took a while.

Strangely enough, I'm not that concerned this time. Gilbert is versatile at best, but not terrible.

It is still really early but I am kind of glad they didn’t give Teoscar a blind extension. Through 3 games it doesn’t seem the Mariners even upgraded from Winker and Frazier.

But he was suppose to be the next Bonds from everything I read from the loyalists in the offseason. I had a hard time believe it because we only gave up a minor leaguer and a reliever. I am sure he will be average in the end, but Mariners average not MLB average.

My first thought was mental break as well. He just couldn't throw strikes 75% of the time and when he did it had very little on it. He didn't pitch long enough to see him decline in-game.
