Well that sucks having them drive the price up. I’d honestly rather the M’s stand pat with the offense they have rather than get robbed for Jazz. Good player, but not worth one of the M’s top 10 prospects IMO unless they are taking Haniger…..which is why I like the idea of dealing with the Cubs.

That's true and there are a few other guys out there. I'm thinking the Phillies might be exploring Rooker from Oakland since he just kicked their asses over the weekend.

That’s a guy that wouldn’t be bad on the M’s but roster wise it makes no sense

I think he fit in nicely and could provide protection for JRod. .291avg/21HR/62RBIs

Agree but then we wouldn’t have farm system. You have to overpay in prospects to get him, then you have to massively overpay in prospects to get rid of Garver and Haniger. Rooker is a DH, if he is a COF then the other COF can’t be anyone on the roster.

FO is going to have to give up the farm regardless since they won't spend money in FA. They can attach one of those 2 clowns and easier to absorb some of the contract.
