I don't want Jerry touching anything anymore. Play out the season, miss the playoffs by 2 games and let me dream about the young guys coming up in the next couple years. Nothing is going to change no matter what the idiot does.

My biggest concern with trading is they are going to trade the three infielders who will go on to become stars and the M’s keep the Dustin Ackley’s.

Was listening to the Lookout Landing podcast and they said Ford told them he hates DHing and that’s why he is trying to learn LF so when he isn’t catching he is still in the field.

I am sure no young kid wants to DH, but I am guessing that isn't why they put him out there. It was either to get him to the bigs faster or showcase him.

Maybe to the big leagues. I don’t think him playing LF really adds all that much. If they were showcasing him then IMO he should be playing 2B/3B. But I don’t know

Depends on the team interested in him I would guess. A lot harder to teach a kid to play infield during the season compared to outfield I would think.

Fair, I just guess the DH excuse makes sense once it was laid out. Either way I don’t think he finishes the season in the organization but just don’t feel him being able to play LF means Seattle gets to keep Locklear or Peete

Exactly! That is what scares me. Of course he still puts up good SB numbers. Not sure about his defense these days. Can he be worse than Moore? Haniger? Bliss (Not playing)? Canzone when healthy? Might be worth it.

For sure Bliss needs to be in AAA. Would prefer him over Haniger but ain’t no way ownership is going to eat that contract.

Whit is what Jerry lays up at night dreaming Dylan Moore could be. But no, it makes no sense signing him. Jerry already is burying Bliss on the bench, can’t bury Haniger and Bliss and pretend you care about the budget or the future.
