Just a shame that everyone doesn’t get to see the rightful matchup. The rams would have got their chance, Brees should have got his chance.

7 penalties for 64 yards against the Rams

3 penalties for 20 yards against the Saints

Missed facemask calls and missed holds screwed the Rams too.

Fact is if the game is close enough for one call to make a difference, you have nobody to blame but yourself.

And then they got the ball to start OT and turned it over.

They lost, and it couldn't have happened to a more deserving fanbase.

Thank you. The no call late in the game was a bang bang play. Emphasis on the bang

As John Madden said, you can literally call holding on every single play.

If I recall, there was one holding call all game and it was on the Saints.

I'm pretty sure both o-lines were holding more than that.

That poster who mentioned it is pretty shitty so no surprise. Dude is clueless about sports.

Every Sunday you’re on here bitching about the refs. It’s like Groundhog Day. Did we steal one from you? Sure.
Did we beat you in your own house with Gurley doing jack squat? yeah

Is blaming the refs weak AF? Yeah

Of course they missed it when you look at slo-mo. But the game isn’t played in slow motion.

Fact is the Saints couldn’t put us away in their own house and got beat by the Rams with Gurley doing jack shit.

How many no calls could we focus on? Yet we all bitch when the refs determine the outcome of a game. Kudos to the refs in today’s age for letting them play. Sometimes you get calls and sometimes you don’t. But I’d rather have no calls than a flag fest

My thoughts are that none of those refs wanted to be the one to make a call at.that.stage.of.the.game.that.could.be.game.changing.and.just.wanted,to.let.them.play.as.that.is.the.only.explanation.that.I.can.think.of

Yes, calls get missed every play, on both sides. Some are more blatant than others, and that was blatant as fuck

In fairness, that one play directly decided the game.
Didn't wipe out a game winning TD or FG, right? They could have turned the ball over like the did in OT on the very next play had they been awarded the flag.

This argument has always annoyed me. Having the two best teams in the conference in a close game means it shouldn't be close enough of a game to make a terrible call matter?

Wow, a superbowl with two teams that absolutely do not deserve to be there. I will not even watch.
