While I admire the refs for trying to put the whistle away, I think they misread the memo. It should be put the whistle away on ticky tack shit but they missed a bunch of blatant calls both ways in that game. It was ugly. Somebody in a striped shirt needs to be taken to the woodshed, imo.

In the Payton/Brees era, the defense has given away atleast 3-4 game ending playoff games. As a fan, I did not want to see the defense get back on the field, so I liked the first down pass. Also, who are all these weapons? I mean all we have is Kamara, Thomas, and spare parts...oh and Ingram

As much as the NFL has SHIT all over defenses with their rule changes the last several years (especially pass defenses), it's hard for me to get upset over an incident where the defense gets away with one.

That delay of game is BS. If you know anything about football (which you don't), you should know how delay of game penalties work. Basically teams are allowed another 1 or 2 seconds after the clock hit zero to snap the ball.

Delay of games are NEVER called right when the clock hit zero.

They got away with some, sure, but the Saints got away with a hell of a lot more throughout the game. Rams had more than double the penalties and more than triple the penalty yards, but that one play caused the game. Hell, the rest of the game didn't matter at all.
