I doubt there is a shred of truth to it, but lets say the Niners got KC, and they send Washington their 2nd round pick and Dallas their 1st. Dallas gets the Niner's 1st and sends Romo and their 1st rounder to Washington. trade shakes down

Washington gets Romo, Dallas 1st, SF 2nd
SF gets KC
Dallas gets #2 overall

The Cowboys 1st and Niners 2nd brings that closer to reality IMO

I guess this is a good example of BS offseason stories! The idea of a first round pick is kind of crazy. The idea of the #2 pick in the draft is asinine and any writer that would write that should be embarrassed to call themselves a sportswriter.

I would be very happy with a 3rd rounder. I also feel giving up a 3rd rounder would be a great deal for whomever acquires him. My gut says we get less if anything at all which is perplexing.

I wasn't talking about every throw jarntt, that is why I posted a whole year in which he threw 435 passes and involved in many more. I was just giving Romo more credit than you do.

I agree, the story is totally bogus. This is the only way I can see it going done where everyone walked away happy, making it even slightly possible. The Skins would stroke out over the Cowboys getting the #2 overall for Romo, but the haul they would be getting for KC....Romo, the Cowboys 1st and the high 2nd..that's as much as they could get otherwise IMO. The Niners get their man in KC, giving up a 1 and a 2. The Cowboys give up Romo and their 1st for the #2. The Cowboys still make out like bandits, but closer to reality. The Cowboys would probably have to kick in their 2nd to Washington to get it done. Would Washington take Romo, a 1st and two 2nd's for KC? In a heartbeat, IMO
