I can't keep up anymore in my old age...

This guy was loved by the Flames, no?:suds:

Joe%20Mullen%208x10.jpg

One of my faves as well, Dash. In fact, outside of the obvious (66,68,10,25).. Joey was one of my all-time favorites during the Lemieux era.
Yeah, I got my dates crossed on Joey and Badger Bob. Both occurred within 4 days of each other, so let's just consider it a sweet package deal. Joey was one of my favorites from that era as well.

I'm trying to think who's the best former Penguin who ended up in Calgary and the answer I keep coming up with is Mike Bullard. It's not fair, I tells ya.
I feel for you, Dash. I really do.

I'll say it. Congratulations Penguin fans. As much as I hate you're fucking guts, I'm ever do marginally excited for you.

You're about to either steamroll everyone to the Cup, or just embarrass yourselves. :D
Yep, the chips have been laid. Anything less than a Cup win and we'll be hearing about it from rival fans for years to come. :D

Shero LAUGHS at your hatred!

No, but really, hate away. I 10000000% understand. I'd hate with raw jealousy if I weren't a Pens fan too. THAT SAID: expectations are Cup or bust now. So...if they don't win it, it'll merely be that much more depressing. I just look back to '93 if I ever need reminded of that. Talk about stacked, '93 Pens.

FB post of the day..
"As the Iginla deal went through in the wee hours of the morning, I hope Mario poured an impossibly aged wine into a Game of Thrones-style silver goblet and lit a ridiculous cigar from so deep in the jungles of*Cuba that it had to be retrieved by a team of archaeologists.*I'm talking giant drill bits and guys being lowered into a crypt with blow torches, and when they finally found this rarest of cigars in a golden chest, the lead archaeologist held it aloft in dignified amazement and the Zelda treasure music played out of thin air."

I always thought of Mario more of a poutine and Lucky Strike kind of guy than a fine wine and Cuban cigar kind of guy.

\and don't tell me about his vast wine cellar at his house, I've seen it and he's not fooling me.

Hahahha, he's definitely a Lucky Strike guy...although I thought he quit the cigs. Also: pretty sure wine runs through his veins.

Shero's presser: "...then we got off the trade call and we had him. Actually, the first people I called were my kids and I told him we acquired Jarome Iginla...and they said, "No you didn't, the TV says he's going elsewhere." And I said, uh, no I'm pretty sure we got him."

Bahahahha

"Dad, no you didn't."
"I literally just got off the call."
"No."
"I'm a freaking GM, I think I know this."

Is it unethical to root against Iginla?

I think this was a good trade but I can still hope this blows up and the Pens get bounced early.
