Pressure is the ONLY thing I agree with on that list. Older? Sure, but the team is still majority young. Even the older guys are playing well. KUNITZ IS 33! Not that far off from Iggy OR Morrow, and same as Murray (who is depth, lets be real). Grunt work? Have they seen what Morrow does? He's a "star", sure, but he does the dirty work. He's a front of the net player. Iggy is gritty too. He fights, scraps, goes to the net. Slower? Still have overall team speed to match anyone in the league. I could see the not enough puck to go around arguement too. But there's a trickle down affect. This means Tanner Glass will see fewer minutes. That's fine with me. We have guys on the top lines that play a 4th liner game (Dupuis can be a 3/4th, Cooke too, TK, all of 'em). All this means is that a guy like Cooke or TK is moved to the fourth and a guy like Glass is out.

I think you're right, but I have to hope for the worst for the Pens. lol

And I know the article was generally nitpicking. I do think about chemistry/expectations in the back of my head to keep me grounded as a fan...but I can't ignore how HUNGRY that room is now.

I think the analysts about the return keep forgetting that the Flames wanted to do right by Iggy too...they kept his desires in mind.

I wonder if that trickle-down effect will cause some discordance/displeasure with some of the role players.

Sportsnet guys are going on and on about how that's not how it works. "He gives the list, they chose the best deals. He already gave the list to say where he would go! Do what's best for the organization!" I have a feeling Feaster told him to choose between Bos/Pit/LA because he liked all the deals (I'm assuming LA was the other).

Not only a great player. but more importantly a great person. I think that's what I'll miss most is the class that he brought to the organization.

my favorite Iginla/Flames moment (although i liked when he tripped on the stick in the 2004 playoffs)

That's your first mistake, pix.

Switched to the NHLN...they showed "possible Pens lines" with Tanner Glass as the C on the 4th line and Craig Adams out. Which is hilarious. Adams is a cornerstone on this team. TSN or bust, eh?

really shabby stuff from them ... its why they are a distant #2 in canada
