nope!
Interesting to see where he goes then. Shame not seeing in him Calgary anymore.
nope!
That said, when was the last time the Penguins acquired a figure beloved by Calgary, and really the hockey world over? June 12, 1990, Badger Bob...and we all know what happened that year. We will be honoured to do Iggy and Calgary fans proud.

John Shannon @JSportsnet now
For the Record, no one on the current Penguins' roster is wearing #12. #Tradetracker
anyway so thats why he choose pitts....
This guy was loved by the Flames, no?
Morrow and the 1st we sold are the only one's I'm sad to see go. We have Dallas' 2nd, so that'll be fairly high. And a few extra picks from Tangradi/Lovejoy trades. They're later picks, but hey, it's a "deep draft". Losing these two won't hurt too much. Keeping Bennett, Despres, Maata, Pouliot, and not losing a single roster player is impressive. I'm not even worried about the future.
He was one of my favo(u)rites in a Flames uniform, what a great player.
One of my faves as well, Dash. In fact, outside of the obvious (66,68,10).. Joey was one of my all-time favorites during the Lemieux era.
Kunitz - Crosby - Iginla
Neal - Malkin - Dupuis
Morrow - Sutter - Bennett
Cooke - Kennedy - Adams
Holy crap, Pens are loaded.
Has David Stern vetoed this trade yet?
Just checking.
Yeah, I didn't factor in Dallas' 2nd in my analysis, but still, if this year ends without Iggy, Morrow and a Cup, then basically we gave up a lot for very little. Also, IMO we overpaid for the Murray deal.Morrow and the 1st we sold are the only one's I'm sad to see go. We have Dallas' 2nd, so that'll be fairly high. With the last pick in the first round of the 2013 entry draft, the Calgary Flames are pleased to select Nicolas Petan from the Portland Winter Hawks.
