Yahoo Sports writer Michael Silver predicts that the Oakland Raiders will make it to the AFC Championship game this season. Yahoo is the most aptly named company in the nation.

I gave up on my SI...with the internetz their stuff was usually too outdated. Swimsuit is the only thing worthy but...internetz have pyorn.

Oh yeah! I remember now. What a perfect downgrade for him. I remember SI being pretty lacking like 5-10 years ago. It must've been his fault.

I don't follow the yahoo football, but I do check out yahoo ufc section. (and the fact that its called UFC instead of MMA blows my mind) The guys that write for that section are pretty awful themselves. If they are any reflection on the overall yahoo writing staff, then a Raiders AFC championship game is about what I'd expect from them.

I hear ya on that prediction, pretty outlandish to say the least but I must say that between ESPN & Yahoo's Fantasy sports interface & support I've had a better experience with Yahoo than ESPN in the 11 years I've been playing at both.
Keep in mind I'm not talking about the content as ESPN has Yahoo beat easily in that regard but I've had more tech issues with ESPN than with Yahoo over the years and have had worse support from ESPN as well. Yahoo never failed to respond to a request for help where as ESPN has not responded at all to some requests I've had for assistance. As with their boards ESPN just isn't big on customer support and that's pretty much the main issue I've had with them over the years.
