If we are being honest about it, DeVonta Smith is going to establish himself as the best WR in the league within the next 3 years.

Funbags, youre off the hook

Jaire Alexander just rated JJ as the 3rd best receiver in football. And Tyreke as the 2nd best on his own team.

Now thats real incompetence.

The funniest thing about the all time Eagle's WR list is that the #6 top receiver in their history was a DE. And their #8 top receiver of all time was a kicker.

But that was football in the 50's I guess.

DeVonta Smith right on track after the conclusion of his second regular season. Big improvement over his rookie year despite sharing targets with AJ Brown and Goedert and also not having any catches in week 1 he still broke the Eagles franchise record for receptions by a WR. He is already by far the best sideline catch WR in the league. His concentration and ability to get his feet down while making insane sideline catches is unparalleled.

I think he is set to have a pretty big playoffs. He's in a zone right now. He's only going to continue to get better and be looked at as a top 3 WR in the league by the end of next season.

why do you say Despite?
Dont you mean thanks too?
If the defenses has to worry about AJ & Goedert, makes life much easier for Smith. No wonder he improved!

Well, we've backtracked to "top 3" by the end of next season. So there's that. 2023 is gonna be a fun ride on this thread.
