Waddle has better all around stats than Smith. That's a fact. You focus on 1 stat soley because anything else blows your argument a part.

Smith is also nowhere near Chase. So, in his own draft alone, Smith is likely 3rd best WR - and then you have 30 other WR's blowing Smith out of the water.

He's having a nice year. He's nowhere near being a top 3 in the NFL. He's not even top 3 on some NFL teams, let alone the league.

I think you guys are arguing a losing point here. Reagor and Watkins are horrible. Smith has been average this year, but average is way better than horrible and Smith has been better than those two. Now if they treated those two like a 2021 top 10 pick with regards to game planning and the such, maybe the results would be a little different, but from what we have seen Smith has been much better than the other two guys and much better than All Pro Greg Ward as well.

As for 3 years down the road, who the hell knows. Nobody, that's who but RTKs blind homerism makes him think this guy is gonna be the best in the league. Most of us see no sign of that but trying to talk sense to this kid is pointless.

It is pretty unfair to judge Smith at this point considering who he has throwing him the ball.

........but RtK has also touted Hurts is best of the young QBs between Hurts, Murray, Mayfield, Tua, Jones, etc. You can't tout the QB as good and then also claim that he is the reason that Smith hasn't been "all-world"
Also note that no one has claimed Smith is bad. He has had a solid rookie season and looks to have a decent to good career if his ultra-skinny frame holds up.

However, you are correct. It is too early to judge Smith. Thanks for pointing out why it is so fucking stupid to claim that he will be a top-3 WR in 3 years (now 2 years) and refuse to acknowledge that there are questions and weaknesses to his game instead of claiming he is the greatest ever.
