It is crazy how quickly things change with Ohio fans. I remember back in 2020 they were hoping that he would stay at Michigan.

I was never one of those Ohio State fans. Always said JH is damn good coach. His winning percentage at both levels is proof of that.

Harbaugh has achieved the top award in college football, if he decides to go after a Super Bowl win now, where does he land?
I think he stays a couple more years at least.
Never been a big college fan, but I just see him wanting more than one. Meyer has 3 who was his biggest rival.

If not, I see him going NFC only because his brother is AFC.

He seems to have learned the system that makes you successful at the college level now. It use to be all about the recruiting game. NIL and the transfer portal have changed it all the past couple years. You no longer can sign a kid, and he had no good options to leave your program, unless he wanted to sit out a season. Now they can move around how they please each season, what seems like often to the highest bidder.

Harbaugh doesn't seem to heavily pursue those 5* kids that are fawned after by the top recruiting programs (although maybe he does, but they still deny him). He has seen great success in those middle/end of the 4* kids, and high end 3* kids. They don't seem to leave the program either, unless they just aren't playing. Michigan really develops kids well within their system, and several have become NFL players.

The real question is who replaces Harbaugh at Michigan if he leaves, tbh.
I think the option of Vrabel and the possibility of Belichick being available will speed Harbaugh's decision process up a bit. I imagine Michigan will know if they need to replace him by this weekend, if they don't already know. I could see them just keeping the next guy in house for a season or two.

Well that was before they cheated. It is not a coincidence after covid he went 40-3.

I'm just amazed they could keep winning all those games even after everyone knew about it. :harbs3:

Would love to see him come to the Bears. But with Brady part owner in Las Vegas... well, those Michigan alum stick together, right?

I think the allure of starting with Herbert (even if the rest of the team is a fucking mess) makes it more likely than the Raiders, imo. If the Bears job opened up Harbaugh might be open to that one more with Williams, imo.

he should stay at Michigan and build a powerhouse legacy, a dynasty. prove that it's not just a one-off.

I voted “other” as Seattle provides a great home court advantage.
