Right, and my larger point is that all the stuff that goes with it; the sometimes annoying casual fans, the snarkiness from fans of other teams, the 'oh you've got the refs/fate/luck in your pocket!' narrative, is part and parcel of the success. Package deal.

So we should embrace all that negativity, because it means that we're finally relevant.

What's REALLY hard to swallow is indifference.

Just think, with another decade plus of success under Wilson, the Seahawks will be as ubiquitous as the Cowboys, Steelers, and Raiders, and 9ers. You'll be able to go to Bumfuck, Iowa, or Sydney, Australia, or Nairobi, Kenya, and see Seahawk caps.

Don't forget Stouffer (as already mentioned by dude82). He was horrible!

Also, the likes of Bruce Mathison (remember him anyone?), Jeff Kemp, Gale Gilbert, Glenn Foley, Brock Huard, and Trent Dilfer all started games from '86 through 2001. Not exactly a shing star in that bunch. But Charlie Whitehurst aka Clipboard Jesus might have been the worst to ever start a game for the Hawks.

My list of best Seahawk QBs:
1. Russell Wilson
2. Matt Hasselbeck
3. Warren Moon
4a. Jim Zorn
4b. Dave Krieg
6,7,8.......?? Jon Kitna? John Friesz??? A case could even be made for TJack at this point.
9. Rick Mirer? or Trent Dilfer?
10. Everyone even worse than Rick Mirer, which is to say horribly bad!

And no, I've been a fan since '76, and I have NO idea who Bruce Mathison is.

strike season QB, dude sucked but was one of the better "strike" QB's but that has everything to do with Largent if you ask me. Guy completed UNDER 50% of his passes if i remember correctly and that was good for those Strike QB's lol. Stuck on the team when the strike ended one of the only strike players that did for the Hawks.

That was the season Freddy Young had the INT in Houston in the wildcard game that they said was not a INT and the Hawks lost by a fieldgoal. 20-23

Yeah a string like that can actually start to get you to believe in stuff like fate. You'd assume they'd get 'lucky' and at the very least draft a good talent once in a while who'd rock for a bit, then get hurt or something. Not unending suckitude.

For a while there, the Hawks had their own little streak going.

Zorn was actually pretty decent for a new franchise starting out though. Got us off on the right foot.
