I would agree...that was dark times. We should really enjoy this run, don't ever wanna go back.
Right, and my larger point is that all the stuff that goes with it; the sometimes annoying casual fans, the snarkiness from fans of other teams, the 'oh you've got the refs/fate/luck in your pocket!' narrative, is part and parcel of the success. Package deal.
So we should embrace all that negativity, because it means that we're finally relevant.
What's REALLY hard to swallow is indifference.

Just think, with another decade plus of success under Wilson, the Seahawks will be as ubiquitous as the Cowboys, Steelers, and Raiders, and 9ers. You'll be able to go to Bumfuck, Iowa, or Sydney, Australia, or Nairobi, Kenya, and see Seahawk caps.
Who woulda' thought that through all the lean years?
