Going into GB and pretty much dominating the Packers. The most impressive thing was that they beat the Packers and the refs. I'm very, very impressed.

They've already one one game that I had marked down as a loss prior to the season. Harbaugh better be careful or he's going to make a believer out of me.

Too be fair the officiating was pretty bad for both sides but we had two blown calls that lead to two Packers TDs.

I was still itching to see things more opened up on offense but overall we pretty much did what we set out to do by controlling the clock, effectively running the ball, and hitting the short and intermediate passes.

Defensively aside from that 3 man rush drive it was about as perfect as you could ask for against a team like the Packers. Basically holding Rodgers to two TDs is an amazing feat imo.

Don't think he even got a touch today.

Honestly I think we drafted James with more of an eye towards the future and this will be more of a developmental year for him.

I think as the season goes on he'll going to get worked more and more into games though.

See what a quick learner Fazio is though. He immediately switched to bringing 4 and 5 on every play on the next drive and it rattled Rodgers. Singletary's response would have been just to tell the players to try harder.

The thing that makes me laugh at pundits is that when you think about it we're actually a poor match up for GB so anyone picking them to destroy us was being foolish.

Green Bay's defense only thrives when it's ahead and is equipped to take on passing attacks since that's what they'll see the most of and the reason they get so many turnovers.

Their defense isn't equipped to play from behind and worse yet it's lousy against the run so when they run into a team like us that likes to run the ball and defensively can slow down their offense it's not a good fit for them.

They would much rather get into a shoot out with a team than play a grind it out old school style of football team.
